Any suggestions?
Answer: You are not alone. Free hosting will not be the right hosting for most. Web hosting is one of the most critical thing for your web presence and can mean the success and failure for your business.
To answer your query, here are 7 qualities to look for in a good web hosting. An excellent hosting:
- has friendly Live Chat from the start,
- gives more-than-enough webspace,
- offers no limit on bandwidth,
- gives multiple add-on domains,
- has easy Site Builder,
- has Fantastico and QuickInstall to quickly install apps like WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, OSCommerce, ZenCart and more
- can be easily upgraded to VPS or one of their best dedicated server plans if and when your business require.

Who Should Not Try Hostgator
To be honest, no web hosting service is perfect. Drawback of Hostgator includes:
- No free domain name – but you can easily get a domain name from the best domain registrar such as Godaddy or Namecheap for $10 or less. Would you agree that a website is not complete without a domain name?
- You need to pay full price after your first invoice – well, they need to make money too and all the support and great service do come with a cost

I highly doubt there is any free hosting service out there that does not have ads or banners due to the fact that the reason that it is free is because of the profit generated from the ads. To my knowledge there is no free hosting service that does not have some sort of drawback like ads or something other than a ".com" extension.

You can try free blog hosting. they don’t place banner on your site. But your site would be branded in such a way that it will look like you have hosted that on there server
There are hosting service who provide inefficient control panel and lots of T & C on you. It’s better to move to a cheap hosting where you can have full control on it. You can create any type of website using CMS script in 5 minutes. Go for a cheap PHP MySQL hosting find more at http://bloglipi.com

There are a bunch of free hosts listed that do not have ads on http://www.thefreehosts.com x10Hosting and hostrator are good but you have to keep in mind with free hosting you get what you pay for as far as reliability 🙂 If you are hosting for personal use ok but for business I don’t recommend using free hosting. http://www.hostingplanrebates.com has deals on paid hosting that bring the cost down to as little as a dollar a month.
