Answer: Here is why many business owners are wrong about getting free web hosting. Free hosting will most probably never be the right hosting for aspiring website owner. Web hosting is one of the most critical thing for your business and can mean the life or death to your business.
Before we answer your question, let us review the 7 things to look for in a good web hosting. An excellent hosting:
- has excellent support and rated at least A+ by Better Business Bureau (BBB),
- gives more-than-enough webspace,
- offers no limit on bandwidth,
- gives multiple add-on domains,
- has friendly Site Builder,
- has Fantastico and QuickInstall to quickly install apps like WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, OSCommerce, ZenCart and more
- can be easily upgraded to VPS or one of their best dedicated server plans if and when your business require.

Who Should Not Try Hostgator
To be honest, no web hosting service is perfect. Drawback of Hostgator includes:
- No free domain name – but you can easily get a domain name from the best domain registrar such as Godaddy or Namecheap for $10 or less. Would you agree that a website is not complete without a domain name?
- You need to pay full price after your first invoice – well, they need to make money too and all the support and great service do come with a cost

I think I can help you:
1.Go to WordPress.org and download the wordpress zip file.
2.Then go to your file manager and open the public_html file and upload the wordpress zip file into public_html. (there should be an upload icon somewhere in your file manager)
3.After it is uploaded, click on the zip file and then on "extract." (there should be an extract icon)
4.After its done you should see a directory called WordPress. You can also rename this directory something else or just leave it as wordpress.
5.Then in your cpanel, go to SQL database and create a database.
6.Then you can create a new user for that database and add it.
7.Then go to your url which would be "http://yourdomainname/wordpress(or whatever you may have renamed it to)
8.Then click on the button labeled create a configuration file and fill in the info they ask for. After you go through that, you should be done.
If you just want your website to be your wordpress blog, then on step 4, your also gonna want to copy all of the contents of the wordpress directory and put them in the public_html root.
I know this might seem a little confusing. Fantastico makes things so much easier.
